About Chris Reynolds
I offer the following qualifications and experience:
Property Care Association (PCA) Qualified Surveyor of Structural Waterproofing (CSSW).
BPEC Residential Ventilation Specifier
Former Technical Manager for the Wykamol Group
Former Managing Director of Alliance Remedial Supplies
In 2019 I relocated to the beautiful village of St Neot on the edge of Bodmin Moor and on selling my former company took up semi retirement in 2020. However I remain actively involved in property restoration, preservation and maintenance providing impartial solutions for damp and water ingress problems in buildings of all types.
I have presented to a number of Landlords groups around the country on the subject of damp in property and a number of my projects have been featured on TV programmes such as Homes Under The Hammer, Amazing Spaces and Restoration Man.
I offer damp surveying, waterproofing and tanking design, project management and product procurement services along the A30 corridor from Launceston to Bodmin and north to south, Boscastle to Looe.
For being semi retired I keep my operating costs to a minimum. No fancy trade vans, offices or staff. This enables me to offer my services at very competitive rates.
My passion is ensuring the right things are carried out to a property to ensure it remains dry but is treated in the right way. If remedial chemicals can be avoided then so much the better!
I charge for my time only. I have no motivation for securing large contracting jobs. If my conclusion is such that a damp issue will dry out naturally or that a timber infestation was historical, this is what I will report back to you.
